They're lying to us about the public option.

It's been awhile.

I got so caught up with school and debating libruls online, that I kinda forgot about my blog. I shouldn't have. I can say that I have learned much in the past year. Intense debate has helped me to hone my skills, learn more than I thought possible, and has really cemented my core political beliefs.

Make no mistake about it, we have a long row to hoe. While this country may be a center right nation, we are still in the battle of our lives. The progressives are sprinting as fast as they possibly can before the American people catch on.

The good news is that the American people are catching on. We still need to keep the pressure on our elected "representatives." I put that in quotes because I think they have stopped representing us long ago.

Anyway, sorry for my absence. I'm going to try and post regularly from here on out. I hope all of you are well, and keep up the good fight. Call your Senators and voice your opposition to this monstrosity of a health care bill.

This dude is going ape shit with our money. I don't see this ending well. I'm not well read on this new package they just passed, I think it's called Omni-bus or something. Yet one more 400 something billion dollar spending bill. Filled with pork. Democrat and Republican pork. If the republicans want to earn back respect, this isn't the way to go.

That's all I can say is...HOLY SHIT!!! We are so screwed. I'm not sure we are ever going to be able to recover from the damage the democrats are planning. I'm actually fearful, for the first real time in my life. I've always been wary of the government, and had a general distrust of the government. I'm so far past that now, it's not even funny. This is perhaps (Lincoln and the expansion of the Federal government being the other possible largest) the single largest power grab in the history of the United States. I am truly disappointed in my country. This is not the country I served anymore. I don't think I would want to fight for this country, if needed. I'm not much for religion, but, if it helps, God save us all!!!
