Michelle Obama wants a salary as First Lady.

First we get The Office Of The President Elect. Something that has never been done before. Now, Michelle Obama thinks she should get a salary to be the First Lady. The hubris of these people. Where does it end? I thought Obama was supposed to be like Neo from the Matrix? Isn't he the one that is going to lead us out of this recession? How is nepotism and another couple hundred thousand dollar salary on the payroll going to help that? If this isn't a sign of things to come...then I don't know what is. The American people didn't elect Michelle Obama. Being the First Lady is an honor and a privelage. Wasn't she the one telling women that they should stay in their communities and volunteer, instead of going out into the workforce? What better way to lead by example than doing charity work as the First Lady. I think this shows their hypocracy, and blatant disregard for our American traditions. I can't wait until they exit the White House!
